Carlow Senior Hurling manager Colm Bonnar says they are hopeful of having their first collective training session this evening (Tuesday) since their victory over Kildare last Sunday week.
Carlow are due to play Meath in the final round of group games in the National League next Sunday, Colm says the pitches are well drained to get back to normal after last weeks havoc.
“Yeah, look there is no doubt, the pitches would be still kind of very wet and soft with the Snow on it still melting out there, but most of these pitches are well drained.
“There is a very good surface on them and within a couple of days they do seem to come back around so yeah, we would be hoping on Tuesday now that we have our first collective session really since the Kildare game.
“That’s nearly 9 or 10 days which is unusual for an Inter-County Team at this time of the year,” he said.
