Colm Bonnar’s Carlow senior hurlers are at home to Kildare this weekend.
Carlow senior hurling manager Colm Bonnar says it’s important to take every chance they get in Sunday’s National Hurling League clash at home to Kildare.
Speaking to KCLR, Bonnar says the final league table could come down to scoring difference.
“Go down to Kerry and beating Kerry down in Tralee was a huge boost to us”, says Bonnar.
“Our backs were to the wall, and it’s something we had to do to keep our hopes alive in the League. The fact we have done that, it means that we still have a huge interest in the League and we still need to be doing very well.
“We need to hit the ground running against Kildare.”
“First off, we need to beat them and we need to take every opportunity that we have because everybody is looking at the final table. It could come down to the scoring difference, but if we don’t win our game against Kildare, it will put us out of the reckoning.”
“Every game is vital for us to win so we will be hoping we will get a good crowd and a good vocal crowd to back us on the day.”
