Old Leighlin Footballer Mark Brennan says it’s important to be focused all around the field on Sunday.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of the Senior Football Semi-Final clash against Rathvilly, Mark says they need to be fully tuned in to the overall threat that Rathvilly possess around the field.
“Brendan Murphy is a fantastic player and I suppose last year, I had to kind of mark him and I was injured and it’s no fun marking Brendan while your fully fit never mind when your injured and he definitely got the better of me that day.
“He’s just a huge player for them, but also he’s the kind of player, where when your focusing on Brendan some of the other players really step up too and it’s a scenario you don’t want to be caught in, just trying to stop Brendan you stop Rathvilly because I don’t think that’s true.
“I think they have some fantastic players around the pitch and we need to be fully clued into that,” he said.
