Kilkenny Senior Hurling Manager Brian Cody says he didn’t fully see the incident that saw Richie Leahy sent-off in yesterday’s comprehensive victory over Dublin.

Speaking after the game, Brian says it’s not in Richie Leahy’s character to get sent-off.

He said “Not fully, I didn’t see it fully, but I notice that Richie Leahy is just a very very genuine clean player and, I am not going to start talking about it because just all you do is end up with fellows telling you that your not supposed to talk about referees and such like so I am not going to talk”.
