Kilkenny Senior Hurling Manager Brian Cody says being inexperienced will be no excuse for the young lads involved in today’s (Sunday) All-Ireland Final.
Speaking to KCLR, Brian says the newcomers involved today have to grow up quickly.
He said “We have experienced players and I mean you can’t buy experience, you have to go through it first before you can gain it, and that’s what the lads are doing and they are applying themselves magnificently well and they are growing up quickly and that’s the reality of it”.
“When you are out there, there is no point in saying I have a bit of an injury, if you are out there, you are not injured, if you are out there, maybe inexperienced but you have to compete with what’s in front of you and that’s they are doing”.
