Kilkenny Senior Camogie Manager Brian Dowling has weighed in on the decision to not allow a Kilkenny intermediate team enter an All Ireland championship.
Both Intermediate manager Aine Fahy and Captain Aisling Curtis has been very vocal in regards to the decision made by the camogie association in the last few days and senior manager Dowling shared the same sentiments.
Speaking to KCLR at the weekend Dowling said, “They have trained hard all year, just to be told your not going to be playing anymore is not doing much to promote the game. Those girls train as hard as the senior girls and to have the that opportunity taken away is just disappointing”
