Former Kilkenny Senior Hurler Brian Hogan says IT Carlow’s Fitzgibbon Cup Semi-Final clash tomorrow against Mary I of Limerick will be an intriguing contest.
The two teams clash in DCU at 2pm tomorrow afternoon(Saturday) in the first of the Fitzgibbon Cup Semi-Final and Brian says that IT Carlow will take a lot of beating with well known established Hurling figures within their ranks.
He said “That will be an intriguing contest as well, obviously Mary I have kind of a very strong recent history, the breakthrough year, obviously a lot of players from Limerick and Clare have gone through the college in the last few years, they have gone on to play Inter-County hurling, Carlow IT are a very strong side and well managed by DJ and obviously Mick Dempsey is involved as well, so that will be an intriguing encounter”.
