Two brothers will go head to head with their teams in the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Final to take the honour of becoming county champions.

Former Kilkenny hurler Brian Hogan plays his hurling at centre back for O Loughlin Gaels while his brother Keith lines out for Clara.

Last year Keith won the braggin rights when Clara defeated O Loughlin Gaels 2-14 to 2-12 in the quarter finals.

Clara went onto the final but were beaten by Ballyhale Shamrocks.

Kilkenny, Leinster and All Ireland Club Champions Ballyhale Shamrocks were knocked out of the Championship yesterday by O Loughlin Gaels.

8 points from Henry Shefflin and a goal each from TJ Reid and Bob Aylward wasnt enough for the southerners to defend their county title.

O Loughlins Mark Bergin shot 1-9 while Mark Kelly got a goal and a point for the town team.

Martin Comerford got 3 points in the game and says he enjoyed every minute of it.

Clara are meanwhile back in another County Final after beating Mullinavat yesterday in the other Semi final.

Keith Hogan scored 1-5 for Clara in the game that finished 1-23 to 14 points.

Clara Manager Mick Purcell says they need to improve their game as they haven’t put in a proper 60 minute performance yet.
