Graigue-Ballycallan Selector Declan Browne says winning yesterday’s Shield Final against Lisdowney is a stepping stone in their attempts to win the Intermediate Championship.
Speaking to KCLR after yesterday’s game, Declan says it’s important they maintain their focus for the next two weeks ahead of their Championship Quarter-Final clash.
“I suppose we kind of set out at the start of the year to get to this stage, top two and obviously it kind of came in a roundabout way against Freshford and we still got there.
“At the end of the day it’s about two weeks time that’s the important thing.
“It’s a stepping stone and we could try out lads today so we might have a bit of a headache for two weeks time,” he said.
