Leinster Rugby have confirmed the availability of Ed Byrne, Jack Conan and Rhys Ruddock for selection against Ulster in the PRO 14 this Friday night.

Byrne and Conan came through their first game back in the defeat to Connacht, Byrne picking up the Blues last try of the game.

Ruddock has recovered from a niggling rib injury and is expected to be available for selection this weekend.

Ahead of the must-win game against Ulster, we’ll know later this week whether Ciarán Frawley (hamstring) and Josh Murphy (calf) will be available, both having been withdrawn from last week’s matchday squad.

Johnny Sexton and Scott Penny have both entered Graduated Return to Play Protocols following HIA’s in the 35-24 defeat to Connacht.

Jimmy O’Brien and Rory O’Loughlin (both shoulder) are questionable while Jordan Larmor has returned to training but requires further assessment. Harry Byrne is due back in training this week.

Larmor’s been out of action with a shoulder injury since October and isn’t expected to feature this weekend.
