Kilkenny and Clare will face off in their Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship group 1 clash at Nowlan Park this Saturday at 5pm. The game forms part of a double header of GAA action in Kilkenny this Saturday. With the camogie side out on the pitch at 5pm, they’ll be followed by the meeting of Kilkenny and Limerick in Round 1 of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship at 7pm.

Tickets for Saturday are already on sale from usual outlets, with a number of tickets available from Nowlan Park on Wednesday (today) in the morning and evening. Tickets are being sold on a first-come-first-served basis and there will be no facility to transfer within the ground on match day.

Kilkenny head into their Group 1 game off the back of a comprehensive 2-15 to 0-6 point victory over Waterford on 10 June and top the group.

Clare have an extra game under their bests, losing out to Dublin 3-11 to 1-14 in the opening round before picking up a 2-19 to 3-9 win over Waterford on 17 June.

Owen Elliot is set to referee.
