Thomastown Hurler John Joe Farrell says the Camp Na Laochra which will be held during Easter week will keep the kids active in their local area while they are off on their Easter Holidays.
“It’s GAA and it’s just trying to keep young people active in the local area” said Jonjo.
He said “A good few parents came to talk to me about a lack of things to do for children over the holidays between Easter and Summer so this is the second year of it now, and it’s something for them to do”
“Jenny Reddy is involved too who plays Camogie with Thomastown and Kilkenny, the two of us are running the camp”. There is a registration morning on the 23rd of March at 10.30am in the Thomastown GAA pitch if people want to call down and sign up.
