Carlow announce U17 squad for 2017 Bank of Ireland Celtic Challenge

Following the announcement last week that this year’s Bank of Ireland Celtic Challenge finals will take place in Carlow’s Netwatch Cullen Park, the U17 squad for Carlow has been announced.

Players from St. Mullins (2), Naomh Eoin (6), Mount Leinster Rangers (7), Burren Rangers (1), Ballinkillen (6), Carlow Town (1) and Bagenalstown (1) will make up the 24 man squad.

Carlow start their campaign on Wednesday 3 May with a trip to Wexford Park to take on Wexford North. Three games at the Netwatch Training Centre in Fenagh follow on 10 May (Kilkenny), 17 May (Dublin) and 27 May (Wexford South) with the month closing out on Wednesday 31 May with a game against Meath.

This year’s semi-final fixtures will be played ot on Saturday 10 June with the divisional finals taking place in Netwatch Cullen Park on Saturday 24 June.
