Carlow Camogie get new gear ahead of Division 3 league semi final on Saturday

They take on Armagh in the last four of the competition in Ashbourne.

Carlow Camogie get new gear ahead of Division 3 league semi final on Saturday

Carlow Camogie vice captain, Eleanor Treacy accepting team gear from sponsor Sean Swan of Swan's Electrical with David O'Mahony team manager and Liam Foley Carlow Chairperson.

Carlow Camogie is busy preparing for their national camogie league semi-final which takes place this Saturday.

The division 3 game against Armagh takes place in Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA grounds at 2.30 with a limited number of spectators allowed in to watch the game.

Carlow has had two weeks to prepare for this game after wrapping up the group stages of their league with a 2-17 to 2-08 win over Clare in Fenagh on the 29th of May.

Before that, they drew with Limerick and beat Waterford.

The other semi-final sees Wexford go up against Limerick

Ahead of the game, sponsor Sean Swan from Swan’s Electrical presented the team with brand new gear during a training session in Milford.

Meanwhile, Carlow’s U16’s are in All Ireland championship action too when they face Laois on Sunday 13th June.

That game is at 2 o clock in St Fintans GAA, Mountrath.
