Carlow Manager Mark Brennan says he’s happy with the year they’ve had.
The county played in the Intermediate grade for the first time this year and play their final championship game on Sunday against Meath.
Mark says they wanted to be competitive against the top sides…..
“You know the first step was to just make sure that we were able to compete with these teams and for the most part I think we’ve done that and that’s been very positive”
“Getting that win over Galway was to be honest with you as sweet as anything that we achieved over the last number of years, to beat quality teams is what our ambition is”
“Its tough, it is tough (Intermediate grade) but that’s what we’re here for and that’s why we want to learn and the girls are learning really quickly”
