Carlow Senior Football captain Darragh Foley says theres no reason why they and the Minors cant get a result against Wexford this weekend.

The Minors clash in the Leinster Quarter Finals at 1pm on Sunday in Netwatch Cullen Park while the Seniors game is at 3pm.

Speaking to KCLR, Darragh says he’s hoping for a big crowd at the games……

“We feel we’re coming in off the back of a strong league campaign, the Minor result was absolutely brilliant the last day you know, and we see the Minors training over there in Fenagh on the same nights as us, hearing good things back from them and its great that they got the win that day and its going to lead to a big day on Sunday”

“We cant wait, I’m sure they cant wait for it either, so hopefully we get a big crowd out, we’re aiming for a big day on Sunday”

“We can only look after ourselves, we know the Minors have strong players, i’d be confident that they can get a result, and I’d be confident we’ll get a result too”

We have LIVE commentary of both games, the Senior game is with thanks to Flynns Carlow Nissan.
