Carlow Senior Footballer Daniel St. Ledger says they will have learned a lot from the way Laois played in yesterday’s League clash as attention now turns to next weekends Division 4 Final clash between the two counties.
Speaking to KCLR after Sunday’s clash, Daniel is hoping the open spaces in Croke Park will suit them next Saturday.
“We have 6 days now to get ourselves together for Croke Park. It mighn’t have been the prettiest to watch, but there was a lot of hitting and belting so it kind of sets the tone nicely for next week.
“We learned a little bit about Laois as well. Their build up is extremely slow which kind of lets us gets men back.
“They didn’t know how to break it (Carlow’s defence) down so we will probably get a good bit from this and hopefully the open spaces in Croke Park will suit our lads a little bit more,” he said.
