Earlier today Carlow cyclist Conal Skully once again represented Ireland in the Road World Championship
Skully was first off for Ireland in the junior time trial event on Tuesday and finished on a time of 14.23.
Today he competed with the Junior mens team which also consists of Darren Rafferty, Ronan O’Connor, and Dean Harvey.
Darren Rafferty had the highest placed Irish finish coming 24th.
His own club, Carlow Road Cycling Club, recognized Skully’s fantastic performance as a 1st year junior at the Europeans Con as being a leading factor in his selection to represent his country.
