Carlow Senior Manager Turlough O Brien says that the players are really looking forward to getting game time.
Carlow face Maynooth in the O Byrne Cup opener on Sunday and speaking to KCLR Turlough says that they have a stronger panel than they did 12 months ago.
“Training is all well and good but games is what you want. We have some new lads and lads that have returned to the panel. We have identified good young players coming through and we have lads like Shane Redmond, Conor Lawlor, Ciaran Moran, Murtough Ware and Eoghan Ruth back who are all big men too.”
