After Saturdays win over Meath, Carlow Senior Hurlers now know that they must repeat that result against Laois and Westmeath in their two remaining games.
Corner Forward Chris Nolan says that those games are simply do or die.
Speaking to KCLR after their victory against Meath on Saturday, Chris says that any of the forwards are potential match winners on their day.
“We knew after last weekend that we had to win and every game from here on in and it’s do or die now.
“It probably wasn’t pretty today, but they are the games you have to win. Any of the six forwards or midfielders can score points and James Doyle stood up last weekend and he stood up in the League Final so any forward can stand up like.
Nolan was in good form on the scoring front Saturday but isn’t getting carried away.
“Next week I might be bad and another forward will stand up, but things back on track anyway for us, like it’s wide open, anyone can go through now at the moment,” he said.
