The countdown is on to the 1916 Carlow GAA County Finals as Bagenalstown take on Carlow-Graigue in the hurling at 5.20pm before Tullow and Tinryland contest the football final at 6.10pm.
The games are a recreation of the county finals of 1916 and are part of the ongoing 1916 celebrations in Carlow.

With Dublin Street being taken over this Saturday (we’ll also be broadcasting live from Dublin Street on Saturday morning from 10am-12pm), a parade will lead off the match through town to Netwatch Cullen Park ahead of throw-in for the football. Admission to the games is free and all are both welcome and encouraged to attend.
The games are part of a landmark year for Carlow GAA, the county and board having already welcomed GAA Congress to Tullow earlier this year.
