KCLR Carlow Football analyst Willie Quinlan thinks Eire Og will be put to the pin of their collar by a well coached Michael Davitts Team.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of this weekends County Under-21 Football Final, Willie thinks Eire Og’s experience will see them prevail narrowly.
“It will definitely be close and will definitely be a good game. Cathal (Michael Davitts Selector Cathal Coughlan) seems to be very good on the line, he is very steady, he knows the game plan that he want’s.
“They are strong enough physically up the middle.
“You would think on paper that Eire Og just have a little bit more experience and physicality around the middle with Jordan and with Ross and young Brennan and Dylan Salter and them guys.
“But as I said, Cathal is a shrewd operator. I have seen him with one or two teams.
“After watching Eire Og he will mark their key players and he will have to stop them playing and that’s what they will have to do in the final,” he said.
The game throws in at 7pm in Netwatch Cullen Park Satruday.
