With the deadline now passed for club nominations for the Carlow GAA Awards, the planning begins for the big night in January.
The 28th edition of the awards, celebrating the very best of GAA in Carlow, are set to take place in Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, Tullow, on Saturday 20 January at 7.30pm.
This year’s award-winners will be announced on Tuesday next, December 19th.
Tickets are available to purchase from Carlow GAA offices at Netwatch Cullen Park, weekdays until 2.30pm.
Meanwhile, Carlow county board will have their annual convention this Friday evening. Their counterparts in Kilkenny were due to have theirs tonight but that meeting has been postponed until Thursday due to adverse weather conditions.
