Carlow centre-back David English says it is still all to play for ahead of Sunday’s clash against Kildare in Newbridge.

The sides clash at 2pm in Newbridge.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s game, David says a win would put them in a very strong position…..

“Everything is there to play for for both sides. Like as I say, Kildare were very very unlucky not to get the win up in Antrim there at the weekend”

“Antrim scored four late points to clinch the win, but we are looking to put it all to bed really I suppose”

“If we get the win, it leaves us very comfortable going into the Armagh game but having said that, it’s still all to play for.”

“You have Antrim chasing up as well and you have Westmeath there, they have a tough final match against Antrim and you never know, it could come down to a bit of a dogfight whoever gets into 2nd place I would say”

We’ll have LIVE commentary of the game with thanks to Reas Department Store in Bagenalstown.
