Carlow Senior Hurler Marty Kavanagh says the upcoming matches at home to Laois and Offaly are the most important as they are the most winnable to keep their Division One prospects alive.
Speaking to KCLR, Marty says it’s important to produce a performance this evening (Saturday) away to Waterford ahead of those two games.
He said “They definitely are. At the start of the year, they are the two games that you look at and winning at home as well, Laois and Offaly would be saying the same about us”.
“They are probably looking at our game to win that game so those two games are definitely the most important games”.
Marty says “Come Saturday we could be disappointed, we will try and get a result out of it but at the end of the day the Laois and Offaly games are the big ones. We need to try to get a good performance on Saturday night”.
