Carlow man Steve Lennon and Limericks man Willie O Connor came close to winning the World Cup of Darts final in Hamburg in Germany on Sunday.
The men, representing the Republic of Ireland were finally beaten by Scotland’s Gary Anderson and Peter Wright.
Along the way to the final, the Irish lads cause some shocks knocking out Greece, England, Austria and Netherlands.
