Carlow Hurling Centre-Back David English says they still remain fully focused on staying in Division 1B despite losing to Offaly last Sunday.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s relegation Final against Offaly, David says they have experience of reaching targets previously.
He said “Where you conceded a loss like that in your home ground particularly having got a draw against Laois and then going and losing to Offaly, you would kind of think that the heads might be down a small bit, but as we were saying like we don’t underestimate what’s at hand here”.
“We are completely focused on our goal of remaining in Division 1, and the lads this is an extremely focused bunch of players. We have set out our targets the last couple of years and we have been lucky enough to have reached the majority of them so, and look there is nothing more we can do and give our and hope we can pull it off in the end” said David.
