Carlow Rugby Club PRO John Shirley says they have to make the best of their League games.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Leinster League clash away to Portarlington, John says they weren’t treated kindly in the Provincial Towns Cup.

“This is the final one before the Christmas break and we thought that we weren’t too kindly treated in the draw for the Leinster Towns Cup. We were picked to face Dundalk one of the best teams in the whole province. A team that has just come back from Senior status so we are not guaranteed a long run in the Cup either so we have to make the best of our league games”
