Carlow Rugby Club PRO John Shirley says they have realistic ambitions of coming second in Division 2A of the Leinster League.
Speaking to KCLR on last nights “The way it is”, John says they have a tricky game next Sunday away to Edenderry….
“I suppose we could have realistic ambitions of coming second. There is only three matches left and there is a seven point gap between us and Cill Dara”
“There is a four point gap between us and Longford. We have Longford at home and we were only narrowly beaten in Longford so we would have good expectations of winning that one but next Sunday, we have to go and play Edenderry, and that’s in Edenderry so that could be a tricky enough match”
