Carlow Senior Football selector Tommy Wogan says it’s important not get carried away ahead of next Sunday’s game at home to London despite gaining a very valuable point away to Westmeath.

Speaking to KCLR, Tommy says they need to be fully focused on the task in hand….

“I have said it all along in Carlow. We have some fine footballers in Carlow, it’s a matter of buying in to what we are doing”

“It’s buying in to what Stevie and Turlough and that has put in place this year”

“This core of players they deserve this, but now let’s not get carried away with ourselves, and we have London coming to us next week and that could be a banana skin for us. We can’t afford to just take our eye off the ball. We need to knuckle now down to training next week and concentrate on London now”

We’ll have LIVE commentary of the game on KCLR Fanzone this Sunday with thanks to Flynns Carlow Nissan.
