Live sport returned last night on KCLR for the first time since March 1st.
The Carlow Senior Hurling Championship was on show as Naomh Eoin took on Naomh Moling at 7.30 in Netwatch Cullen Park.
James Doyle scored the first goal in the championship early in the game.
At half time the score was a draw 1 – 08 to 1 – 08 with Marty Kavanagh registering six points.
In the end it the defending county champions, St. Mullins, putting in an excellent effort in the second half. winning the game 2-17 to 1-11.
The Kilkenny championship got under at Junior level last night also, Emeralds were the first side in Kilkenny to get on the score-sheet registering a point early on. In the Cloneen and Black and Whites game five players were sent off with three for Clooneen. Check out all the results below
