Carlow footballer Clíodhna Ní Shé has had a year to remember so far.

She was the top scorer in the 2021 TG4 All-Ireland Championships with a total of 9-19 and with that picked up the ZuCar All Ireland Championship Top Scorer award in September.

She was also selected as the August LGFA ‘player of the month’.

But she has a busy day this Saturday, November 13th as she lines out for her club Bennekerry/Tinryland as they go in search of a county title when they play Old Leighlin in IT Carlow at 1.30 pm.

It’s her seventh consecutive senior club final.

Then, that evening at 6.30 pm, she will be walking the red carpet at the TG4 LGFA All-Star Banquet in the Bonnington Hotel in Dublin, as a nominee for the TG4 Junior Players’ Player of the Year award.

She has been nominated alongside Marie Kealy from Wicklow and Grainne McLoughlin from Antrim.

The very best of luck to Clíodhna from all here in KCLR and scoreline.ie
