Carlow Tennis Club Head Coach Brian Farrell says there is a very high standard among the juvenile competitors within the club.

The club are busy competing in the Leinster Under-12 and Under-18 Leagues, and speaking to KCLR, Brian says the standard the club are operating at proves the strength and depth that they have.

Brian said “We have two teams in the Under-18 Boys and one team in the Under-18s girls, two teams in the Under-12 Boys and one team in the Under-12 girls, but our number one Under-12 Boys Team is actually in class one”.

“There are only four clubs in Leinster in that class, the organiser would have looked at our players and deemed that they were the only clubs capable of competing in that so a really really huge achievement for the club so we it just shows that we have really really good strength in depth here in the club”.
