The Carlow senior hurlers will face Leinster rivals Kildare, Meath and Westmeath in the Kehoe Cup in January as they look to get their 2022 campaign off to a winning start.
The draw for the competition was made on Thursday with Tom Mullally’s side the favourites amongst many to get their hands on some early season silverware.
The competition starts on January 16 and concludes a fortnight later on January 30.
There are three fixtures for each team with the winners of the group being crowned champions.
Carlow kick-off the tournament with a home tie against Kildare at 2pm on January 16.
One week later, they travel to Meath for an away fixture with the Royal County with that clash also throwing in at 2pm.
The Barrowsiders final group fixture pits them against Westmeath at 2pm on January 30.
