John “Shark” Hanlon says a great day is in store for the Inaugural Racehorse Trainer Morning which takes place on Saturday 18th May.
Horse Racing Ireland have teamed up with racehorse trainers throughout the country to enable Racing fans and the general public to experience what a Racing Yard entails, and speaking exclusively to KCLR, the Shark was delighted to get involved.
He said “It’s going to be a great day. Everyone is welcome to come. Horse Racing Ireland are putting us in to go do this so I put up my hand and said I would do it, and let the people come and see the place”.
Talking about what people can expect, he said “They will see them schooling and doing a little bit of work, we used Doninga gallop there for our work so they will see that, with a little bit of luck and a good day, we will have a few drinks maybe and a cup of tea, and whatever goes with it”.
