Carlow’s U20 hurlers were beaten in the Leinster Championship last night.
The victory was snatched away from the local lads in the final moments as Kildare took the win by a point.
Carlow lead by two points at half time 2-17 to 0-11 in what was a tight game.
1-23 to 3-16 was the final score at Netwatch Cullen Park.
Tonight (Wednesday), Carlow’s minor hurlers get their championship up and running when Kildare visits Netwatch Cullen Park.
Throw in for that one is at 7.30 pm.
