Carlow Under-16 Camogie manager Pat English says it’s important to produce as many young players as possible and progress to represent the County at adult level.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday’s All-Ireland Under-16 Roinn C Final against Mayo, Pat says there is a good club and county scene in Carlow.

“You have to have that chain that’s going to bring players on.

“Our job is to get as many players as possible to go play Senior Inter-County Camogie or Senior Club Camogie for that matter, and that’s development.

“We have a good club scene, you have a good County scene and the whole development, everyone is intertwined and they all have to work together and create that pathway,” he said.

The game is at 2.30pm Saturday at St Rynagh’s Co.Offaly
