Leinster Prop Forward Ed Byrne says that Benetton Treviso will be a tough nut to crack when they play them in group stages of the European Cup.
Leinster have been drawn to play the Italian Giants in European Rugby’s most prestigious competition and speaking exclusively to KCLR, Ed says that Benetton proved their worth against Munster and know what to expect.
He said “Yeah, I think in Europe there is never an easy group, Benetton really improved last year and showed their worth in that Pro 14 Quarter-Final against Munster where they pushed them very close, and we could easily have had them in a Semi-Final so I think they showed their class there and they are improving the whole time and have recruited very well over the last few years”.
