The 2023 season begins for Carlow on Thursday as they look to hit the ground running in the Kehoe Cup.
Tom Mullally’s side travel to Hawkfield to take on Kildare with throw-in at 8pm.
The Barrowsiders then welcome Wicklow and Meath to Netwatch Cullen Park, with those games coming either side of a trip to Abbotstown to face Down.
Promotion from Division 2A of the Allianz National Hurling League will be the immediate aim for a team who had a number of eye-catching performances and results last year.
They will also be hoping to match their achievements from 2018 when they won the Joe McDonagh Cup and returned to the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.
