Carlows Division One Relegation Playoff against Westmeath has been confirmed.
The game takes place in Cusack Park, Mullingar on Sunday at 2 o’clock.
Carlow manager Colm Bonnar says hurling so early in the year is not ideal but the league is done now and its all about Sunday.
He said “You look at it, it’s the end of February, my hands are frozen, it’s terrible to think there’s hurling played in these conditions, December, January and February.
“None of this is going to come into play next Sunday, we are really going to look forward to this game on Sunday, the Division One league is what it was, we just have to park it, try and pick the positives from it and its all about next Sunday now”.
