Carlow football coach Steven Poacher says they will need all the support possible ahead of their championship semi-final game against Laois.
Speaking to KCLR on Monday night Sport, Steven says the support makes all the difference.
“The support that Carlow had in the first game against Louth was fantastic and you could see that it was very evident”, said Poacher in speaking to Kevin Regan.
Listen back to Monday Night Sport here.
“The support was ferocious and it makes some difference. You cannot underestimate the impact of the support and the people of Carlow and the momentum that that’s generating among the group of players.”
“It’s immeasurable, like, you can’t measure that and I think it’s vitally important that that continues.”
“I am just hoping and praying that come the semi-final in two weeks that every man, woman and child in Carlow is in Croke Park with their colors on because we will need that support.”
We’ll be supporting Carlow there ourselves on the day with full commentary and analysis on air, online and in app.
