Carrickshock manager Tommy Shefflin says they have answered all the questions been asked of them to date.
The side go up against Ahasgrah of Galway in the All Ireland Intermediate Club Final this Saturday in Croke Park.
Speaking ahead of the game Tommy says they have stood up when the chips are down….
“You would often hear people questioning Carrickshock, their character and bottle whatever, but this year like they have been tested, and it hasn’t been easy”
“They have got a lot of tough games but the fact is they stay going and they answer the questions when they are asked of them and then they got relegated in 2015, and the easiest thing in the world to do then is like for the older lads to say ah why bother like, walk away and leave it to the younger clubs and maybe fall down the Junior ranks but no in fairness to them, these lads have come back at it”
