Carrickshock manager Tommy Shefflin says they proved they had the strength of character when defeating Tullaroan by a point in Sunday’s Intermediate County Semi-Final.
Speaking to KCLR on last nights “The way it is”, Tommy says they showed on Sunday, they had plenty of bottle….
“Like over the years, before you would hear people saying about Carrickshock that they have no bottle or whatever but like they definitely showed they have plenty of it there and showed that they have real character”
“So that’s the most pleasing thing for me that these lads have plenty of bottle and plenty of character because the questions have been asked about them over the years, they haven’t done that so that’s the most as far as the management is concerned”
