Kilkenny have claimed their first hurling silverware of the year.
Brian Cody’s men saw off the challenge of Galway in Nowlan Park on Sunday afternoon to claim the Bord na Móna Walsh Cup, with Danesfort’s Richie Hogan taking the lion’s share of the scoring, clocking up 11 points.
It finished Kilkenny 0-20, Galway 0-18.
