Carlow Town and Bagenalstown cricket clubs played out a tight contest over the weekend, their first competitive meeting in years.
The club are running the sessions over four weeks in the CBS Hall in the town.
Female members from Carlow and Kilkenny are being sought after for Baganalstown Cricket Club.
It was all in all an exceptional weekend for Bagenalstown with 6 teams taking the field for the first time across all ages and abilities.
It’s only the third week of May and already Bagenalstown CC has eight fixtures under their belt.
The first game is on the 23rd of April with a home game for their newly promoted first team against Dundrum.
