Chelsea and Real Madrid looks let to be the tie of the round as the draw for the Champions League quarter finals were made on Friday morning.

The semi-final potential pairings were also determined so fans know who they may have to face to reach this year’s final, now in Paris.

St. Petersburg in Russia was to play host to this year’s cup final but UEFA switched venues following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Premier League supports too should be happy with Liverpool, Man City, and Chelsea all kept apart.

Liverpool have a date with Portuguese side Benfica with the first leg due to be played in Lisbon.

Liverpool we’re 2-1 winners on aggregate over Inter in the last sixteen while Benfica knocked out Dutch champions Ajax to progress.

The winners there will face either Bayern Munich or Villarreal after the Spaniards dumped out Juventus in spectacular fashion this week.

Manchester United missed their opportunity to progress earlier this week, going down to Atlético Madrid on aggregate. The Spanish club with now face Man City in the quarter-finals.

The final pairing sees Carlo Ancelotti face his former club as Real Madrid face current holders Chelsea.

Madrid took an incredible comeback win last week with a Karin Benzema hat trick dumping PSG out of the competition.
