Charleville Intermediate Hurling manager Ben O’Connor says anything other than performing to 100% of their ability will not see them qualify for the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Final.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday’s clash against Graigue-Ballycallan, Ben is well aware of the challenge their opponents are going to provide.
“Looking at Graigue-Ballycallan, they have the same kind of profile as ourselves” said the Cork man.
“They have got a lot of young players, they have got an Inter-County player, we have an Inter-County player, and we have a few experienced fellows, and they have Eddie Brennan and they have James Ryall, who would be their two main experienced fellows”.
Ben says “We are expecting a tough battle, any team that comes out of Kilkenny and wins a Leinster title, they are not just going to be showing up to make the numbers”.
“We know we are going to be in a right tough battle and if we don’t perform to 100% of our ability we won’t be come out winning”
