Recently ratified Carlow senior hurling manager Colm Bonnar says he is looking forward to the new challenge of working with the senior setup.
Bonnar is currently involved with Ballyhale Shamrocks until the end of their Kilkenny Senior Hurling Club Championship run and speaking to KCLR, he says it’s (taking on the post in Carlow) a challenge that he is relishing.
“It’s back involved in kind of the Inter-County scene. Your the whole time learning but yeah, it’s another challenge and Carlow I’ve seen some of their teams play.
They have some smashing hurlers and they will be doing everything they can to get out of Division Two and win the Christy Ring so it would be a case of getting in there and meeting the players and setting targets and goals, so it’s something I am looking forward to yeah”
Story developing.
