Dicksboro’s Cillian Buckley is quite the talent.
The 23 year old made his senior debut for Kilkenny during the 2012 league campaign, cementing a place in the starting 15 from there out. In his time since, he’s picked up three National Hurling League medals, two Leinster medals and two All-Ireland medals, against Galway in 2012 and Tipperary in 2014.
We caught up with Buckley at the recent Kilkenny GAA media night for a chat about his take on facing Galway this coming Sunday, recent injuries to certain Kilkenny panel members, leadership on the field, the threat of Galway’s forward line and more besides.
Take a look above and hear more on The Way It Is each evening this week.
