Clubs have been preparing for an interesting season at club level in Kilkenny.

Former Kilkenny and Carlow IT hurler Chris Bolger is back training with his club Clara and he is looking forward to the season ahead.

Speaking with KCLR Saturday Scoreline, Chris spoke of the importance of treating every game like a knockout game this year:

“I’d say whoever you get in the Senior or Intermediate or even Junior for that matter, it’s all 50/50 games as everybody knows really, we just have to take every game as it comes really and just prepare”.

He added “The way it’s working out you kind of really have to prepare like it’s knockout from day one, if you lose a game or draw a game it’s going to be tough on you, so it’s just win at all costs really”.
